This category recognises programmes aimed at increasing public awareness and sense of responsibility, for maintaining public health to prevent the onset of disease. Entries should show promotion of healthy lifestyles and provision of health advice and improve a specific aspect(s) of healthcare and/or reduce health inequalities and/or other societal goals relevant to health.

Work conducted during the 18-month period between July 2010 and December 2011 will be eligible.
