MedErgy hires Mark Vince as European director

MedErgy has appointed Mark Vince as European director, based in London, to head up the agency’s European operations and lead its teams for existing and new clients in Europe with global, pan-European or national level needs.

Vince has over 25 years’ pharma industry expertise and a wealth of international experience in Europe and across Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

He has worked in senior clinical development roles at Ciba-Geigy and SmithKline Beecham, where he oversaw the establishment of regional clinical development centres.

In 2002, he joined the consumer division of GSK where he established the medical marketing function to provide strategic and tactical direction for nine core brands including over-the-counter medicines, nutritionals and oral healthcare products.

During his time in medical marketing, Vince planned and delivered opinion leader engagement activities, publication plans and medical education programmes in a number of therapy areas including cardiovascular and oncology.
