Sally Irvine leaves Novartis to join Chandler Chicco Agency as communications consultant

Sally Irvine has left Novartis, where she was director, communications & events, to take up the newly created senior management role of communications consultant at the Chandler Chicco Agency (CCA), part of the Chandler Chicco Companies (CCC).

Irvine, an alumna of Sanofi-Synthélabo, has been with Novartis for nine years, joining in 2002 as communications manager. In her new role, she will report to CCA Managing Director Anne-Marie Rodriguez de Killeen.

CCC, part of inVentiv Health, was ranked the number one consultancy in the 2011 PRWeek healthcare league table. Chandler Chicco Agency (CCA) is the world's largest pure-play healthcare communications firm with a long-standing reputation.

As part of the ongoing expansion of inVentiv Health Communications Europe’s ‘super-agency’ network, CCC acquired Haas & Health Partner Public Relations and SanCom Creative Communication Solutions, two leading German healthcare communications firms, in December 2011.

The acquisitions boosted CCC’s headcount to 380 across 40 markets worldwide, and the agency has plans for further growth; inVentiv Health, which bought CCC in 2007, has 13,000 employees to serve the more than 550 pharmaceutical, biotech and life sciences companies on its client roster.
